The short version
EvalTour measures organizational readiness for an AI world. During the free audit, your assessment answers stay in your own browser until you choose to save them to an account. We collect your email only when you ask us to save your progress, book a review, or talk to our consulting guide — never to browse the site. We do not sell your data.
What we collect
- Assessment answers — stored in your browser's local storage during the free audit. Nothing leaves your device until you create an account or save progress.
- Email address — collected when you save quiz progress, request a booking, or share it with our consulting guide (Mac). Used to send your results, nurture follow-ups, and booking confirmations.
- Company name & service interest — collected on the booking form and from chat with Mac, to tailor our follow-up.
- Account data — if you register, we store your email and an encrypted password hash. You can sign in with Google for a passwordless option.
- Usage analytics — aggregate, non-identifying events (page views, button clicks) to improve the product.
How we use it
To deliver your readiness score, gaps, roadmap, and AI Balance Sheet; to follow up on booking requests and captured leads; to send nurture emails if you started but didn't finish the audit; and to improve EvalTour. You can opt out of follow-up emails at any time by replying "stop" or using the unsubscribe link.
Who can see your data
Lead records (name, email, company, service interest) are restricted to EvalTour administrators. Regular app users cannot read, edit, or delete leads. Your assessment results are tied to your account once you register; before that, they live only in your browser.
Third parties we rely on
- Authentication providers (Google) — only if you choose social sign-in.
- Email delivery — to send nurture and booking emails. Requires a verified custom domain; until then, captured emails are queued, not delivered.
- Hosting & infrastructure — Base44 provides the application backend, database, and file storage.
We do not share, rent, or sell your personal data to third parties for marketing.
Data retention
Your in-browser assessment data clears when you reset it or clear browser storage. Account data and leads are retained for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
Your rights
You may access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact us. If you are a California resident, you have rights under the CCPA; if you are in the EU or UK, under the GDPR.
Security
We restrict lead access to admins, encrypt passwords at rest, and transmit data over HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information using reasonable industry measures.
Children's privacy
EvalTour is intended for business and professional use. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. We'll note the "last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated to registered users.
